This is my go-to cookbook. I always start here when I'm looking for a new recipe. I've even used this book when I'm cooking with a recipe from a different book because it has some great reference tables for measurements and subsitutions at the front. I don't think I've ever tried a recipe from this book and had it fail. Definitely one of my favourites!

A great, well-rounded cookbook. Everything I've made turns out. Contains a lot of my standard recipes for basic things. It also contains lots of interesting recipes. A good stand-by for dinner parties. Lots of different sections for all kinds of food. Lots of instructional sections and mix and match recipes.
