The Kosher Palette: Easy and Elegant Modern Kosher Cooking
By Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy
Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy - 2000
This book is a real winner. There are certain recipes that we return to again and again. Everything I have tried has come out delicious, although I do tend to do my own tweaking since we don't like our food so sweet. The salads and appetizers are delicious, creative and relatively easy to put together and the desserts are all great. The stuffed turkey breast is a recipe I had struggled to recreate after being served a similar dish at a wedding. I had almost perfected the recipe when I was given this book. Lo and behold, the Stuffed Turkey Breast is almost identical to what I had created but with some added features (leaving on the skin) that helped to make it even better. I highly recommend this book.
