About me: I live in Colorado and cook for my family; my husband, my 20-year-old daughter (who is in college), and my 18-year-old son (a VERY picky eater). I love cookbooks and have quite a collection but am always looking to add more. I have been known to take a cookbook to bed and read it before falling asleep. Lately, I have found myself getting a lot of recipes off the internet and not using my cookbooks much. I would like to change this. I am anxious for this site to take off (and it will) and for the volume of recipe reviews to grow. It is such a great idea!

Skillet Blueberry Cobbler from Weber's Real Grilling

Excellent. We did overcook it slightly on the grill but we just need to get better at grill baking! Served it to a group of 5 and everyone loved it. read more >

Grilled Pizza with Grilled Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Oregano Ricotta : page 40

Excellent! This was our first time to grill pizza and this was excellent. We served it to 8 of us and we all loved it!!

05/2011 - I have since made this two more times and this pizza is great. My picky 17-year-old son requested it for his birthday dinner and another group of 8 loved it.

I have used the multi-grain pizza dough from Whole Foods for this and it works great. This recipe makes enough for two pizzas using that dough.

My husband made this and substituted breasts for thighs. The meat was good. The sauce - oh my! That is hot HOT! It was too hot for me to eat at all but my husband and son loved it. I would give it a 1 and my family would give it a 5 - so it got a 3 star rating.

Rose Sangria : page 20

Great Sangria! Very easy to put together. Key is to let it sit for hours before drinking. We used apples, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and nectarines and did not discard the fruit that had been sitting in the Sangria. Be careful - this is very potent stuff (especially the fruit)!
