Long Nights and Log Fires: Warming Comfort Food for Family and Friends

This is really flavorful, and pretty simple to make. Once you've done all your chopping, and done a quick browning of the ingredients, you can pretty much leave it alone for the rest of the cooking time. The leftovers are good too, since the flavor has some more time to develop.
