tomato soup cake from Joy of Cooking: 75th Anniversary Edition - 2006

Saw a reference to tomato soup cake in a mystery book. Sure enough--a good recipe in the Joy. This cake is surprisingly good. Certainly simple. Tastes like old-fashioned spice cake. read more >
