About me: I collect cookbooks and love to cook and try new recipes. I tested recipes for Leite's Culinaria for almost eight years. I learned to cook from many good southern cooks including my Mom, Dad, several Aunts and my Grandmothers. My children and husband also like to cook and try new foods and recipes. My son still lives with us but our daughter is married. She often visits to cook with me. We are adventuresome eaters willing to try new things.

Almost Famous Rosemary Bread : page 52

I've never eaten at the Macaroni Grill but I've heard good things about it. This is Food Network Magazine's version of that bread. It's sure good. My daughter made this and it made three loaves so she gave me one. It's good warm with a little butter or olive oil on it or toasted and eaten with soup. I hope to make some more soon since I have a nice rosemary plant.

Smoky Kale Chips : page 32

I had a bag of kale my cousin gave me and needed to do something with it. I saw this recipe and decided to give it a try. It's quick and easy and very tasty. A great snack alternative that's actually good and healthy.
