About me: I collect cookbooks and love to cook and try new recipes. I tested recipes for Leite's Culinaria for almost eight years. I learned to cook from many good southern cooks including my Mom, Dad, several Aunts and my Grandmothers. My children and husband also like to cook and try new foods and recipes. My son still lives with us but our daughter is married. She often visits to cook with me. We are adventuresome eaters willing to try new things.

Challah : page 60

I gave this one a three but it's not the recipes fault. I need some Challah for a recipe I want to make on Sunday morning but couldn't find Challah in the store since the recipe is from Comfort Food Fix and I'm trying to eat healthier I though this WW book would be a good place to make the bread from. I didn't realize until I'd already started the recipe that my yeast might be dead. My bread did rise some during the two rising times but once in the oven no more. It looked pretty but you could tell by the look and the flat taste that the yeast was certainly dead. I'll try this one again hopefully soon and revise this review with a fairer rating.
