Black Pepper Biscuits : page 21
I really enjoyed these biscuits and hubby liked them too. They were very fluffy from the cream cheese and butter and we loved the kick the pepper gave them. I'm loving this book too as it's as much fun to read as cook from.

I used some of my leftover Black Pepper Biscuits (p. 21) to make this salad and it was so delicious. I've had Panzanella salad before and loved it but it was even better with toasted biscuits. Simple, easy to make and so satisfying. I didn't have lemon balm so used the option to substitute lemon zest.

Smoked Sausage with Spicy Mustard Mayo : page 30
I suppose these could be an appetizer but I made them for our supper. I made her classic buttermilk biscuits page 17 then I made Smoked Sausage with Spicy Mustard Mayo to put on those biscuits. Both delicious.
