I thought the lemon in this was overpowering.

Not crazy about lemon in my main dishes but was trying something new. It turned out just so-so.

Although there is nothing splashy about this recipe, this is solid home-cooking goodness.

This was a very versatile dish with a subtle spiciness. We used these for burritos, tacos, and a small batch of veggie tomato soup. Good meat to make and have on hand for emergency fixes.

Less spices than the machaca beef but just as good. Just depends on what I have on hand is which recipe I use.

I wasn't thrilled with this. You do need a smaller crock pot for this dish.

Pillsbury Good for You!: Fast & Healthy Family Favorites

I have actually made something similar just by throwing things together! I didn't like the sausage that was cooked in water. I usually fry it and then remove it from skillet, keeping warm, until the rice is nearly cooked. Then adding the sausage back to skillet 5 minutes or so before it's done. This was just okay.

Was like a wimpy form of nachos with limp chips.
Wasn't crazy at all about this.

This is a solid meal in one that just needs a salad on the side.

The filling has potential but the topping has never come out for me.

This is a good alternative to regular sloppy joes and just needs a salad to round this out.

This is a variation on sloppy joes with mashed potatoes over the top. We both enjoyed this as something different.

This was just okay for us. I did like how it was meat and carb in one dish.

I liked this Italian meal a lot. Quick and easy, this was a great way to use cheese raviolis in a way the hubby would eat them (he prefers meat raviolis!).
