Nantes Carrot Stew

This was a fantastic, easy side dish that was a good contrast for the simplicity of the Cod Persillade with which I paired it.

The curry powder was a great addition. I think next time I make it I will cut down on the amount of butter it calls for because the butter flavor was a bit overpowering.

Overall a great weeknight recipe.

Wild Cod en Persillade

Simple, easy and quick!

I would have liked the mustard flavor to come out a bit more, and I had some problems with the bread crumb mixture adhering to the fish (although maybe I could remedy that by using more mustard!).

The recommendation to use top loin cod was right on, regular grocery store cuts can't compare.

Creamed Summer Corn

This was unbelievable. We couldn't stop eating it, I wish I'd made more!

The lime juice and the cayenne transformed this into something unexpected and exciting. I will use less heavy cream, and a bit less butter next time so that those flavors don't overwhelm the lime, but overall it was an amazing dish.

I love this dish for an easy weeknight meal and have made it a few times. I would add a little more garlic because I love garlic, but otherwise everything worked beautifully. And it's so light!

I ate this on its own and thought it was filling, but I served it over whole wheat orzo for my boyfriend and he was a big fan.
