All About Braising: The Art of Uncomplicated Cooking

I found this recipe to be very easy to make, and it was very delicious. The combination of lemons, prunes and olives go great with the chicken.

I adore this recipe. Cardamom and ginger are two of my favorite things, combined with pork and apricots is just heavenly. The recipe is not difficult, and the ingredients are items I usually have on hand (a few might be slightly uncommon for some people, such as tumeric) .

I'm good with the spiciness of 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne, but it's a little much for my spice-intolerant husband--so in the future I might cut it down or make him deal with it.

Coconut Macaroons

I also make this recipe often because it is one of my husband's favorite treats. It's also one of the few sweets I make that I will eat past the first day (I don't like treats that aren't super-fresh).

The recipe works well, and is easy to make. I often double or triple the recipe, without issue (besides not having enough room to cook all the macaroons in my oven). This recipe usually ends up being made soon after making ice cream, to use the left-over whites.
