My great niece loves onion rings and so do we. For an appetizer on Father's Day we decided to try these baked onion rings. They are crispy and delicious. GN decided they're fantastic and she wants the recipe to try making them (she's 12 and loves to cook). They get their crunchiness from corn flakes and bread crumbs. They're soaked in ice water, dipped in flour, a mixture of buttermilk and flour, then in the mix of cornflakes and bread crumbs. You won't believe they're not fried.
