These excellent brownies have a great peanut butter flavor. A word of caution - the instructions are to bake this for 40 - 45 minutes, but at 40 minutes it was almost too well done.

I was super nervous making the chocolate ganache, which is spread on the top. I had to mix for a couple minutes, but just as Deb promised, it suddenly came together in a wonderfully smooth and spreadable chocolate coating. And the volume was just perfect.

I prepared these for my 12 yr old daughter's gymnastics team. They should be a big hit - delicious and calorie filled. But note that for me, the ganache did not harden, and so transporting the cookies might be a little difficult.
