This came out great.  The crust is flaky and sturdy enough to hold the jammy fruit and the addition of the sweetened almond meal  is a nice touch.  I did not make my tart as large as hers - using only about 2/3 of the pate brisee because my three plums were quite small.  I had plenty of the almond/sugar meal leftover, to which I added some butter, making a wonderful crumble topping for ice cream.
