We made this for Thanksgiving 2010 and it was wonderful. We heaped all 3 lbs of apples in our crust and had a huge pie that cooked down nicely. It did not make much of a mess in the oven at all. We will definitely make this again.

This was a beautiful dessert and pretty easy to make. We made it for Thanksgiving 2010 and it was the only dessert that was completely gone. I would recommend this.
