Monkey from ,
To be fair, I will say that the final products I've made have come out tasting fine. HOWEVER. When they say "easy," they mean EASY. They mean everything canned, store-bought, prepackaged, etc and so on. I don't know about anyone else (though given the nature of this site I bet I am far from the only one!! hah) but I know that that is NOT "the way *I* really cook"!! What I end up doing, is making all those other bits & pieces in the ingredients from scratch. Which is fine, but it means each recipe generally requires me to know/find at *least* one other recipe in addition to the one on the page.
Again, the final meals are alright, but this is for your SUPERDUPER BEGINNER cook, and/or your 80hrs/wk worker who has zero time and needs to just dump a bunch of stuff in a pan, or whatever. Anyone with a modicum of experience/time on their hands won't be very happy with the actual recipes included.
