About me: I'm ultra-dogmatic about seasonality and local sourcing of food, but at the same time, I'm a magpie when it comes to foodways. "Ooh, shiny!" I say, and before you know it, I've added something new to my seed-buying list. Yep, I'm the one growing edamame, borlotti beans, bitter melon, fuzzy gourd, yard-long beans, sorrel, garlic chives, and purple sprouting broccoli in central Georgia. I'm also the one with the homemade cider-brined ham hanging on the front porch.
I will eat almost anything as long as it is honestly raised and lovingly cooked.
