Recipe Review

18th July 2011

Jayme from Vancouver, BC

I found this in vegnews' awesome raw summer recipe bonanaza they've got going on for the month of July. It's a tahini and nutritional yeast sauce that you slather all over your kale chips before popping them in a dehydrator. I don't have a dehydrator and I didn't really care if they were raw so I put them in the oven @375 for about 10 minutes until they crisped up. A of my chips ended up with big blobs of sauce on them and these ones stayed soggy, so watch and make sure to get your sauce well distributed.

Perfect for kale haters!

I don't have a dehydrator so I'm glad to hear they work just as well in the oven. I wouldn't have thought to put tahini on these but I'll definitely give it a try if it got five stars from you.

I also should have put to make sure you really get the sauce mixed evenly over them. A couple of my chips had globs of sauce stuck inside them and they stayed soggy!

I can't actually figure out how to edit my reviews after someone comments. Does this happen to you?

There is an edit button right at the bottom of your review. Hang on, let me go check where it is.

yes, okay. Right at the bottom of your review box it has three buttons: comment, review, useful.
Click on the review button and voila!

I can only see those buttons on reviews that have no comments attached to them. Once someone comments the only button left is 'useful'.

Okay, I just checked. If you go to your "My Bookshelf" tab and then click on the "reviews" tab you should be able to see all your reviews there. The "edit" button is at the bottom of every review beside the "useful" button.
Let me know if that works.

It worked! Then after I wrote my review and updated I realised it's treating the comments as a seperate page. If you click on the review tab, right above your recipe then you can see your review without the comments and also with the other buttons and other members reviews.

Yay! Good to know.
