This was great. I've been meaning to try sweet tea brined chicken for awhile now and decided this was the recipe. Most of us even liked the sweet tea syrup that Sunny suggests you pour over the chicken after it's fried. The chicken was super crunchy from the combination of flour and corn starch and the dip of eggs and cayenne.

I only had one problem the syrup wouldn't get thick until I added more sugar than was suggested. Maybe my tea wasn't sweet enough to being with although I put a cup in a gallon of tea.

Perfect recipe for this southern family of sweet tea drinkers.
