My first vegan cookbook! So far, I have been very pleased with the results. There is an assortment of recipes to select; however, I think Moskowitz's strength is sweets (breakfast, cookies, deserts, pastries).
And for all you calorie-counters, proceed with caution. Isa makes it clear that she's all about flavor, but gives tips on how to make things lower in fat.
Also, I'm not too thrilled that there is such great emphasis on soy-based products - tofu, tempeh, seitan, as I am slightly allergic to soy. In her other book, Veganomicon, she does a better job of catering to those who are soy allergic.
