Burmese Pork Curry : page 163

This is a good "starter" pork curry recipe for those just coming to the dish or the cuisine. A very basic Asian pantry and grocery store willsupply all the ingredients needed. Good flavor and not too hot as this dish sometimes can go. (See my review of the same dish in Bruce Aidell's Complete Book of Pork.) After cooking and enjoying this , I imagined an Asian mother or grandmother whipping this up as an easy weeknight meal for a family. This is true comfort food.
