These cookies are easy to make and completely habit-forming. They're equally popular with adults and children.

These cookies are a nice change from the old standards. They're a little fiddly / time-consuming to ice together, but well worth the effort, especially for fans of lemon desserts. The lemon filling is incredible -- good thing it makes extra because it's hard to resist eating it with a spoon).

This dessert was quite good, but the cake came out a bit wet, which makes me think it could use more baking time than the recipe recommends. The flavours are lovely - a nice change from traditional cheesecakes, especially for over the holiday season. It might deserve a 4-star rating if we make it again, allowing more time for the cake to set.

Cuisine at Home: Soups, Stews & Chilies

This meal has become a staple in our household -- something we regularly crave, and a comfort meal that impresses everyone. The menu is straightforward and the technique photos make it easy to follow. We tend to serve it without the pearl onions. On one occasion, we were without white wine, so we made it with red. The colour of the sauce was a bit unusual, but the flavour was still very nice.

I LOVE this hummus recipe. It's light and fresh, and the flavours come through beautifully because they aren't overwhlemed by garlic. However, I've noticed that when I serve it, guests don't gobble it up. I think their expectation if for a heaily garlicked chickpea mash and some of the flavours that come through tend to surprise them.
