My head has not been so much in cooking these days - but I enjoy reading "serious eats" on line, and so am interested in The Food Lab.

Me too. My cookbook shelves are getting full, so I'm trying not to get anything new. And there don't seem to be any must-haves this year. Mildly interested in Bittman's Kitchen Matrix. Also Madhur Jaffrey's new Vegetarian India because I have a fondness for her books.
