These were very good but I had some problems. I'm not very good at candy making to start with but the directions seemed easy... melt candy corn in microwave, mix with peanut butter, spread in parchment lined dish, let cool, cut and dip in melted candy coating. I was out of parchment so I used aluminum foil. We don't care for candy coating and I had read where another blogger made these with some chocolate chips.

The candy corn didn't want to melt good in the micro and the bowl was the pits to wash as was the stirring spoon.

Mine didn't set up hard enough to cut so we had a mess to try and dip. Only a few turned out looking decent but they tasted really good. My daughter thought it might have been due to being so hot in my Dad's house today. He had the heat on and I made them there. She says she'll help me try them again as hubby and son in law loved them. Son hasn't tasted them yet. They do taste remarkably like a Butterfinger. I might also try melting the candy corn and chocolate chips in a double boiler instead of the microwave.
