My son and I recently visited a local farm and purchased a bushel and a half of sweet potatoes at a very good price. Even after sharing some with my MIL, daughter and son's girlfriend we still have lots. We've been enjoying them baked whole and baked as fries. I was looking for a new way and found this recipe.

Since I'm the only one here that likes their sweet potatoes without added sugar I decided to make a half recipe of this. Daughter likes them that way too so I may give her some of my leftovers. I had them for lunch today. This is a delicious way to eat sweet potatoes. They aren't very spicy, just a bit from the cayenne and sweet paprika. The sauce made from the wine, garlic, onions, and water was great as well.
