Lasagna

This turned out surprisingly well! You bake it in a loaf pan, which yields two really big servings...really more like three. Excellent if you're a couple craving lasagna but don't want to be eating it for days afterward.

Fantastic, easy, and quick. One of three recipes based around the same garlic-herb-white wine-chicken broth sauce.

Delicious. One of three recipes in the book that are based around the same garlic-herb-white wine-chicken broth sauce. This recipe left us with a serving leftover, but I probably added a little more pasta than the recipe called for - and I'm not complaining about tasty leftovers! I did not need to add any pasta cooking water as the recipe suggests, and used Parmesan instead of Asiago cheese.

Tasty and easy to make. The marinade/sauce uses basic Asian pantry items. I made the suggested substitution of an orange instead of a tangerine and the recipe worked perfectly. A nice addition to any stir-fry repertoire.

Pork Chops

This has become my go-to pork chop recipe. The method is great for avoiding dried-out chops. So far I have tried the apple and mustard variations; both are tasty.

Makes for very tasty, crispy golden brown potatoes with tender insides. Give the pan a good coating of olive oil to ensure a nice crust.

Easy and delicious...really brings out the sweetness of the carrots. I usually omit the sugar/maple syrup. Recipe can also be made with turnips.
