I thought the somewhat unusual combination of corn, bacon, and fennel worked really well in this potato salad. The lightly flavored dill vinaigrette also worked well.

This was an okay weeknight meal. I found that the lentils and potatoes needed to cook a few minutes longer than the time specified in the recipe. Also, the bay leaf flavor was very strong, and next time I would use only one instead of two.
