Risotto Milanese from The River Cottage Meat Book

Like other recipes of Hugh's this one is a winner, and worked like clockwork. It's a bit odd to have pancetta in the risotto, but it added a lovely flavour that was very welcome. read more >

Sichuan Cookery

This dish is one that I make so often that the book automatically opens to the page now. I have made it for Chinese people (I am not Chinese) who has pleaded with me to tell them which restaurant I got it from. It's stunning, and it has ruined me for ordering it out ever again.
