A quick, easy and tasty recipe which is perfect for when artichokes are in season. Not sure about "Serves 2-3" as I've been known to scoff the lot by myself!

Can I give this 6 stars? This is my all-time favourite artichoke recipe. That said, I never add the wine or tomatoes. It is wonderful served with fettuccine or tagliatelle with some freshly grated parmesan on top.

This is one of those recipes which is more than a sum of its parts. There are only a few ingredients, but it is very tasty. It's a great favourite at my house.
