Lovely and toasty sesame flavour. The only problem is that the recipe doesn't make enough, so I always double it.

It was worth buying the book just for this recipe. Very dark chocolatey, salty, crunchy cookies.

Anything is good with peanut sauce, but it is even better with noodles and broccoli. Easy to make and contains no obscure, hard-to-find ingredients.

These were very good and I only used supermarket non-chiled gnocchi. I pan-fried them in butter and ate them with peas and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Yummy!

This is one of those recipes which is more than a sum of its parts. There are only a few ingredients, but it is very tasty. It's a great favourite at my house.

A quick, easy and tasty recipe which is perfect for when artichokes are in season. Not sure about "Serves 2-3" as I've been known to scoff the lot by myself!

Can I give this 6 stars? This is my all-time favourite artichoke recipe. That said, I never add the wine or tomatoes. It is wonderful served with fettuccine or tagliatelle with some freshly grated parmesan on top.

It is worth buying this book for this recipe alone. It is quick, easy and contains two of my favourite ingredients. You can just use vanilla ice cream and it is wonderful.
Two notes:
-the salted peanuts on top make a big difference so don't omit them
-despite being a dark chocolate person, this really is much better made with milk choocolate. Nigella knows what she is talking about!

If you grow marjoram you must try this recipe. It's another of the fabulously simple, but amazing-tasting recipes that Italians are so good at.
