This tasted like the best crunchy, nutty applesauce you have ever eaten. It was not gorgeous to serve but it was one of the yummiest apple items I've ever eaten.

Made November 2008 in procrastination for writing NaNo WriMo novel #2. It was the frst recipe I tried from Sweet Melissa--it was gorgeous and garnered me a reputation as a great baker from my coworkers. I had no orange so left it out.
