No idea how authentically "Cuban" this is, but it remains a favorite.
I've never used instant rice; a pot of regular rice cooks while the rest of the prep happens.
The combination of "sweet" tastes (raisis, peas, cinnamon, cloves) plus savory (olives, tomatoes, ground beef) is very appearing.
