The deep mushroom and eggs flavors were wonderful; this dish will be repeated. However, it did not produce a beautiful looking popover. Perhaps with different mushrooms (I used baby Bellas and Shitakes) or the mushroom cut differently, or the popover cooked longer, it will look more appetizing. July 2018. Used white mushrooms and canned enokis, really delicious mushroom flavor, but once again the volume of popover was too small, I think doubling the eggs, milk and flour might help; I will try that next time.
