These cookies are European and intentionally less sweet than many American cookies. The orange flavor is very nice but the dough (which is made in roughly the same way that you would make a pastry dough) was quite hard to work with and probably needed more liquid than was called for in the recipe.

Although there was a problem with my oven cooking the first batch, the second batch was fine. Even so, the texture was rather tough (I'd have preferred a more shortbread-like texture) which made me less appreciative of the subtle orange flavor.

Another team AJ/Soupereasy project and we agree -- with a more tender crumb, these not-too-sweet cookies might make an elegant light dessert with a small glass of sherry.
