Almost a 5 - moist, good chocolate flavor, and hints of being an Indian dessert with its subtle addition of cinnamon and cardamom.

You've got to love a brownie whose only fat comes from 2 eggs and chocolate chips. These are moist and not too cakey, and better yet - nobody would suspect that they hide 2 C of grated zucchini!

The batter starts off very stiff, but the 2C grated zucchini adds a lot of moisture, and it more closely resembled a normal cake batter. It was unclear if the 2C zucchini were to be packed down - we started with a fluffy 2C, but then pushed it down to 1C, and grated to make 2C packed zucchini.

Nobody will mistake this for the glossy-crusted fudgey brownies that come from a box (and that we all love), but you won't get any complaints, either. This is good chocolate love by the slice.

We've made these a couple times now. Very reproducible, goes together fast, and delicious. They always take at least 10 minutes longer to cook than specified.
