Fun and easy idea for kids of all ages!

The recipe calls for homemade or store bought pizza dough…because this needs to be shaped and fully baked before the toppings are applied, a pre-baked store bought crust would work just as well. I used this dough.

I made 2 pizza’s, using the suggested toppings of nutella and assorted chocolate chips for the first, and peanut butter, milk chocolate chips and peanuts for the second. The 1 minute baking time after the toppings are applied, isn’t enough to melt the chocolate, but the nutella loses its shine and starts to look dried out so I didn’t bake it for any longer than that.

I was concerned that this dessert might be too sweet, but because the toppings were baked on a savoury pizza crust, that wasn’t a problem in the end. The favourite turned out to be the peanut butter-chocolate; even with all of the different types of chocolate added, the other just tasted of nutella.
