This was really tasty but I did have to add a little extra maple syrup (about 1 teaspoon) after it was done to get it sweet enough for my liking. The apple-nutmeg combination is a nice change from my usual apple- cinnamon. This oatmeal gets very thick in the oven - kinda like a casserole so it makes for a hearty, filling breakfast. Though the recipe says it yields 4 servings I felt like I had 4 servings with my halved recipe. I plan on eating it through out the week, adding a little liquid as necessary.
