Sovay from Northern England,

I've marked this as a side dish but I had it as a main course - it's pretty substantial in itself, what with the bacon. I used fresh chestnuts, boiled - I know this is a lot of trouble but for me it's worth it - and shredded kale as the brassica component to make a seriously autumnal dish.
