I decided to make some of these for Christmas and a few for work to share with friends. It calls for 1 package of candy coating or almond bark. One was not enough to coat all the bonbons though. We left some plain since my son isn't a big chocolate fan anyway. They are good both ways but better with the chocolate. Next time I'll pick up a couple packages of the coating. They taste very similar to an almond joy with pecans instead of almonds.

Cute story about the name.. the author's Grandma Lucy made these at Christmas and gave them to friends and family in coffee cans.
