They rose nicely, but they were too crunchy (not very crunchy, just not as soft as they should be) and tasted a little boring. DH thought they could have used more salt, and also some sugar, though we later found out that poffertjes never contain sugar....

It's very difficult to rate this recipe as the dish consists of a couple of a few ingredients cooked seperately (if at all) and then served together - anyone can do, possibly even without instructions. You definitely won't win Masterchef with it, and...
