Simple but substantial. I tried a version with lamb as mentioned but found I prefer the vegetarian version. Only had dried thyme, not fresh so I added it with the lentils. I might include some slivered almonds next time.

Easy and tastes great - also, no oil. I omitted the beansprouts as I don't like them raw, added a little thinly sliced onion and used parsley instead of dill which I didn't have.

Great spiced kebabs with herby tomato and pomegranate chutney. I would not try to incorporate pomegranate seeds in the kebabs themselves next time though, as they are round and slippery and most of them fall out during frying - which is why I've given...
