Nice and simple but great flavours. It takes a little bit longer to get the leeks really soft than the recipe suggests (unless you slice them thinner) but that's not a major problem. Good on toast as per the recipe, but even better (in my view) accompanying...

This is SO good. And, it only gets better with age. I use a 'house' brand of high proof vodka rather than eau-de-vie or a fancy variety of vodka. I have found the results to be quite wonderful with the much less expensive non-chic vodka. Some years,...
