About me: I live in Colorado and cook for my family; my husband, my 20-year-old daughter (who is in college), and my 18-year-old son (a VERY picky eater). I love cookbooks and have quite a collection but am always looking to add more. I have been known to take a cookbook to bed and read it before falling asleep. Lately, I have found myself getting a lot of recipes off the internet and not using my cookbooks much. I would like to change this. I am anxious for this site to take off (and it will) and for the volume of recipe reviews to grow. It is such a great idea!

Skillet Blueberry Cobbler from Weber's Real Grilling

Excellent. We did overcook it slightly on the grill but we just need to get better at grill baking! Served it to a group of 5 and everyone loved it. read more >

Anna and Frank's Meatballs : page 106

The BEST meatballs. I always double the batch and freeze what is left over. WONDERFUL!

Chicken Cacciatora : page 84

An excellent chicken dish. I made for a crowd of 15 the first time I did it and everyone loved it. I will definitely be making this again - sooner rather than later.

Rao's Famous Lemon Chicken : page 81

This was very good. I added 1/2 cup olive oil and 1/2 cup white white to lemon sauce - I could not in good conscious add 1 full cup of olive oil to a sauce. It tasted fine - it didn't thicken as much as I wanted but I didn't give it a lot of time either. I cooked the chicken as directed under the broiler - and was nervous the entire time, but it cooked fine. Skin did not crisp up as I would have expected - but we didn't eat it any way. I would make again.
