About me: I live in Colorado and cook for my family; my husband, my 20-year-old daughter (who is in college), and my 18-year-old son (a VERY picky eater). I love cookbooks and have quite a collection but am always looking to add more. I have been known to take a cookbook to bed and read it before falling asleep. Lately, I have found myself getting a lot of recipes off the internet and not using my cookbooks much. I would like to change this. I am anxious for this site to take off (and it will) and for the volume of recipe reviews to grow. It is such a great idea!

Skillet Blueberry Cobbler from Weber's Real Grilling

Excellent. We did overcook it slightly on the grill but we just need to get better at grill baking! Served it to a group of 5 and everyone loved it. read more >

A great alternative to 'regular' corn on the cob. Very easy and very good.

Great dish! Nice kick in the marinade that really stays with the shrimp. Shrimp were excellent with out the vinaigrette. I thought that the vinaigrette tasted good - but it looked funny. Not like a vinaigrette at all and really not smooth. I would spend more time on this next time and see if I could tweek it a little.

We loved this. Can't say I could distinguish a big taste difference in the roasted lemon juice and unroasted lemon juice but I will definitely be making this again.

Jamaican Halibut with Tropical Salsa : page 239

WONDERFUL dish. We loved the flavors of this. I made without the bananas as my husband can not stand them. It was wonderful.

We loved these! The marinade has a good kick to it and the Tomatillo Salsa was amazing. You could use the tomatillo salsa on so many things. I would caution that the salsa makes a ton. I did double it since I doubled the Scallops since we had a crowd but I easily had 4x as much as needed. We also did not screwer our scallops. Ours were big fat ones so we just put them right on the grill - worked beautifully.

This was very good. We liked both the rub and the sauce but my son liked only the rub (he liked the spiciness and thought the sauce was too mild). My daughter doesn't like pork so she had chicken and that was good too!

Sea Bass with Roasted Pepper Vinaigrette : page 148

Very good! Great flavor and very easy (other than roasting the peppers). I had a roasted red pepper that I had frozen so we only roasted the yellow and orange today and they were all fine and wonderful. Would definitely save time to use already roasted peppers.
