About me: I live in Colorado and cook for my family; my husband, my 20-year-old daughter (who is in college), and my 18-year-old son (a VERY picky eater). I love cookbooks and have quite a collection but am always looking to add more. I have been known to take a cookbook to bed and read it before falling asleep. Lately, I have found myself getting a lot of recipes off the internet and not using my cookbooks much. I would like to change this. I am anxious for this site to take off (and it will) and for the volume of recipe reviews to grow. It is such a great idea!

Skillet Blueberry Cobbler from Weber's Real Grilling

Excellent. We did overcook it slightly on the grill but we just need to get better at grill baking! Served it to a group of 5 and everyone loved it. read more >

Blueberry Tart

This was really very easy to make and quite the crowd pleaser both visually and appetizing. Next time I would roll the puff pastry out on the parchment on the pan - it is very hard to move once it is rolled (mine was ugly so I just called it a 'rustic tart' it tasted fine). The puff pastry puffs up HUGE but does flatten easily as instructed. I did double the filling as I was concerned that I wouldn't have enough to cover all of the pieces of puff that were left after the flattening. I would double it again next time.

A great low fat salad, especially without the peanuts. Very tasty chicken salad with no mayo or any other dairy product.

This was VERY easy to make and very good. It had a lot of sauce I think you would easily double the gnocchi without changing the sauce.
