About me: I collect cookbooks and love to cook and try new recipes. I tested recipes for Leite's Culinaria for almost eight years. I learned to cook from many good southern cooks including my Mom, Dad, several Aunts and my Grandmothers. My children and husband also like to cook and try new foods and recipes. My son still lives with us but our daughter is married. She often visits to cook with me. We are adventuresome eaters willing to try new things.

Spaghetti with Bacon, Mushrooms, and Herbs : page 112

My daughter made a half recipe of this for her and her hubby when her issue of the magazine first arrived a week or so ago. Last night she came over and made a whole recipe for the family. We all loved it even my picky hubby who isn't a big pasta eater. My daughter said the first time she made it and put the tarragon in the smell made her think she wasn't going to like it. Once the dish had all the ingredients in and was finished she said she fell in love with it. The tarragon seems to work with all the other ingredients.
