About me: I collect cookbooks and love to cook and try new recipes. I tested recipes for Leite's Culinaria for almost eight years. I learned to cook from many good southern cooks including my Mom, Dad, several Aunts and my Grandmothers. My children and husband also like to cook and try new foods and recipes. My son still lives with us but our daughter is married. She often visits to cook with me. We are adventuresome eaters willing to try new things.

Three Envelope Roast

I made this one for my Mom, Dad, hubby and myself. I got rave reviews. Mom hasn't been eating much meat and took a tiny portion and proceeded to take several more small portions along with some of the gravy on her mashed potatoes. Dad wanted to know what kind of meat that I had bought that was that tender. Hubby declared it one of the best roasts he'd even eaten. The three envelopes are Ranch Dressing, Italian Dressing and Brown Gravy. I agree this one was loaded with flavor and super tender.
