Since the weather has turned cooler here and it was rainy today I decided to make chili beans. I turned to eat your books and found a recipe in Mama Dip's Kitchen. Hubby and I loved this. I did used medium hot chili powder for the chili powder called for, as well as the crushed red pepper. I also used home cooked kidney beans instead of the canned pintos since I had a half bag I needed to use up.
