About me: I collect cookbooks and love to cook and try new recipes. I tested recipes for Leite's Culinaria for almost eight years. I learned to cook from many good southern cooks including my Mom, Dad, several Aunts and my Grandmothers. My children and husband also like to cook and try new foods and recipes. My son still lives with us but our daughter is married. She often visits to cook with me. We are adventuresome eaters willing to try new things.

Crock Pot Korean Ribs

We loved this one. The ribs were so tender, slightly spicy and yummy.

We loved this one. Made me want the book that has resulted from this blog. I did use as sirloin steak instead of the flank steak called for since sirloin was on sale for $2 less than the flank. Both my husband and son said it was as good or better than the take out we sometimes get. They hope I'll make this one again and again.

Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

We didn't care for this one. There was an off taste we didn't like. I know she said not to use OJ concentrate that contained pulp and I didn't. I usually like orange chicken but not this one.
