I used this recipe for the Danish recipe only. It is super simple to make and a very delicious filling. It is very cool and refreshing. I made it with fresh lemons and wouldn’t make it any other way.
My only complaint is that I made 1/8 the recipe, since I was going to use this filling for 1/8 of the recipe, and there were still tons left over. It would be nice if the recipe stated about how much filling was used for each Danish, so I could have scaled the recipe to make a usable amount without waste.
I enjoyed all the fillings, but this was my 2nd favorite behind the cinnamon butter crumb filling.
